Lift provides award winning training and pre employment services that will support you to move into training, education and employment.
We understand that moving back into work can be a daunting prospect, especially if you are moving on from housing or health issues. That’s why you will be linked up with your own personal adviser who will take the time to get to know you and work with you to get you to where you want to be.
Our dedicated advisers can assist you with:
- Online job searching
- Writing a structured CV that can be tailored for different employers
- Filling out application forms
- Linking you with local employers offering work placements and paid employment
- Ensuring that you make a smooth transition from benefits to work
We also offer a number of training courses that will assist you with:
- Motivation and confidence building
- Developing IT skills
- English (ESOL) for those who want to improve their English
- Determining what jobs are most suitable to your interests and skills
